MHES Wins a Spring 2017 Access for All Grant from Young Audiences

We are thrilled to announce that MHES is a proud recipient of a Spring 2017 Access for All Grant through Young Audiences of Maryland. With this support, MHES will host NRITYA, an acclaimed Indian dance duo for (2) back to back assemblies on February 3rd.

We are thrilled to host this program in celebration of our school's incredibly diverse student community. Thank you to the PTO parents for grant writing support to make this possible.

NRITYA features Indian Classical dancers, Lakshmi Swaminathan and Lavanya Thamire. NRITYA, in Indian dance vocabulary, means expressive dance. The program will introduce students to the myths and legends of India while also identifying shared commonalities. NRITYA reinforces the universality of dance across cultures.
