On Thursday, October 27th, MHES will host our Annual Literacy Night, from 7PM - 8PM. Children are invited to wear pajamas and come to school to hear a story, eat a snack, and make a craft. Adult supervision is required - so please make arrangements to join your children for this fun-filled night. The Scholastic Book Fair will also be open during Literacy Night in the Library from 6PM - 7PM.

Ms. Kordonski is seeking funds through DonorsChoose.org to purchase relevant, high-interest, grade level materials to help with English language development. The classroom magazines will be used to build students' academic vocabulary to increase reading comprehension. By using current event and high interest texts, the students will develop a love for reading and curiosity to learn and read! Find out more and support this campaign!
