Let's celebrate the the POWER OF 100 on Friday, February 15th and come to school dressed like your 100 years old! We are so proud of all our kids for reaching the half way mark of the school year with 100 AMAZING DAYS of math, ELA, science, physical education, music, art, after school clubs, making friends + pushing through the everyday ups and downs! Congratulations teachers and and students for an incredible 100 days at Medfield Heights Elementary!
The annual MHES Snowflake Dance is blowing into town at our rescheduled date of Friday, February 22nd from 6:00-8:00PM! Check out our opportunities to volunteer. We are looking for folks to help with set up, concessions, crafts, souvenirs, and the hairspray booth. Sign up here if you can volunteer for a shift! We also welcome youth volunteers and are able to sign service learning forms!
This month, we will be assembling comfort bags on February 23 from 10AM - 12PM. These bags will be distributed to the homeless or underserved in the our community. MHES challenges you and your family to put down your technology for one hour each day and complete the activity on the take home calendar (or another activity without technology) and initial the date. Students will receive prizes for every five days of completion and a t-shirt if they do it at least 21 days this month! Share your activities on Facebook and Twitter using the hashtag and tag MHES to show off your school spirit!
With the weather warming up (if just for a few days), we are thrilled to announce the dates for our annual fun filled community event, Medfield Heights Elementary School's SPRING FLING! Save the date and help us make merry with outdoor games, food, music, a silent auction, and more! This is the school's biggest fundraising event of the year. Join us and support a great cause! Check out the Spring Fling 2019 webpage often for updates on the day's schedule, performance stage line-up and growing list of silent auction items up for bid this year!
