Students wear a costume from a favorite storybook and march through the school community starting at 1PM. Parents are encouraged to line-up outside around the school around 12:45PM to wave and cheer on our little troopers! Costumes should be from a book, school friendly, weapon and mask free and comfortable to wear all day at school. We appreciate our fellow parent's commitment to school spirit and safety!
Thank you Ms. Becker for leading our Service Learning Saturdays this year! Join MHES families on Saturday, October 28th from 9AM - 11AM to plant flower bulbs. Bring your gloves, shovels and wear old clothes to help pitch in for this beautification project! All student gardeners should be accompanied by a supervising parent or guardian.
Staff and students celebrate our LOVE of reading and writing at Medfield Heights Elementary School with many activities throughout the week, Monday October 23 - Friday, October 27th. Watch for notes home from your child's teacher. For homework, students will select from a menu of book-based projects - please remember to have the projects ready for presentation by Friday, October 27th. The Book Fair will also be open daily from October 23 - 27th from 9AM - 3PM and during Literacy Night, Thursday, October 26th from 5PM - 6PM. Volunteers run the cash register, help kids to select their favorite books, and help kids to count their money at check out. You'll be placed alongside seasoned Book Fair volunteers and will be shown how to use the register. It's a fun and important event for the MHES community and we appreciate your help! Take the family to lunch or dinner and earn money for MHES and our kids! A rustic-chic spot serving American eats, local beer & cocktails in a chill space. And a great kids menu! Join MHES families, friends and teachers for a great night out. Mention MHES and 20% proceeds will benefit MHES kids and the school.
