Fall 2017 Literacy Week
Staff and students celebrate our LOVE of reading and writing at Medfield Heights Elementary School with many activities throughout the week, Monday October 23 - Friday, October 27th. Watch for notes home from your child's teacher. For homework, students will select from a menu of book-based projects - please remember to have the projects ready for presentation by Friday, October 27th.
The Book Fair will also be open daily from October 23 - 27th from 9AM - 3PM and during Literacy Night, Thursday, October 26th from 5PM - 6PM.
LITERACY NIGHT, THURSDAY, OCTOBER 26TH
Come back to school in your PJs and enjoy a story read aloud and book-related craft with your classmates on Thursday Night, October 26th starting at 6PM! Hey Parents - The Book Fair will also be open from 5PM - 6PM!
CHARACTER PARADE, FRIDAY, OCTOBER 27TH
Wear a costume from a favorite storybook and march through the school community starting at 1PM. Ask your teachers about parties or ways you can help in the classroom. A Common Sense Note to Parents - Costumes should be school friendly, weapon free and comfortable to wear all day at school. We appreciate our fellow parent's commitment to school spirit and safety!
