The holiday season is here and our Holiday Drive is officially underway! We will be sorting and wrapping on Wed 12/12 and Thu 12/13 during the school day, so please sign up here if you can help out! You don't need to stay for the whole time, just add a comment with the time slot you can volunteer for. And mark your calendar for our next meeting on Thu 12/13 at 6:00, at which we will hopefully be finishing up the wrapping. See you there!
It's time for our families to come together and celebrate the holidays through songs, crafts and food. Families are invited to watch their children perform music and have light refreshments. Room parents and teachers will send home information for planning food. For additional questions, please ask your child's teacher!
The Box Top contest is on! Send in all the Box Tops that were used from the holiday weekend! We have a few classes fighting for the lead. All Box Tops need to be turned in by December 19th to be included in this contest! Students in the winning class will earn a board game party!

This Monday! Fall 2018 Young Audiences Performances, Curtis Blues - The Multi-Cultural Roots of Rock and Rap, December 3rd
We are thrilled to welcome our 6th Young Audiences assembly to MHES on December 3rd. Curtis Blues brings history to life, in two back to back performances, by showcasing musical instruments from around the world in this interactive show. Students will learn how different cultures build instruments from resources in their environments and how their choices still influence music today.
Medfield Heights PTO is a proud recipient of multiple Access for All Grants to support these arts experiences in the school through Young Audiences of Maryland. Past performances include Dance China New York (Fall 2015), East African drummer, dancer and singer Ssuana (Spring 2016), traditional dance duo Rhythms of India (Fall 2016), Flamenco dancer Anna Menendez (Fall 2017), and award winning Washington DC's experimental dance company Synentic Theatre (Spring 2018). Our diverse line-up of world-renowned artists, musicians and dancers for school assemblies acknowledges and celebrates our school's incredibly diverse student community.
Don't forget December 5, 2018 is our Design Review Meeting for the new school. We will meet in the cafeteria from 6:00-7:00pm. Use this link below for questions, comments or concerns regarding the process! https://goo.gl/forms/iktdTiMVoQTxw6Jb2
