Join our campaign in the The Annual Mayor's Attendance Competition! We want to improve our attendance records in every homeroom between now and Thanksgiving. The winning school will receive an exciting prize and a visit from Stephanie Rawlings Blake.

Classes with the most improved attendance will receive small prizes at the end of set tracking periods. Even better - families who have made great improvements in their child's attendance rate will receive a ten dollar grocery store gift card as a "Thank You" for your efforts. Let's work together to ensure has as much classroom time as possible.

Everything is know in place for work to begin on City Schools' plan to bring 21st Century school buildings to communities across Baltimore. For buildings that will be affected in the first two years of the plan, school communities are already meeting to discuss priorities and share their ideas with architects and staff. City Schools held a Design Expo on Saturday, November 2nd at Morgan State University. For more information, email betterbuildings@bcps.k12.md.us or plan to attend future Family Council Meetings.
