Join our campaign in the The Annual Mayor's Attendance Competition! We want to improve our attendance records in every homeroom between now and Thanksgiving. The winning school will receive an exciting prize and a visit from Stephanie Rawlings Blake.

Classes with the most improved attendance will receive small prizes at the end of set tracking periods. Even better - families who have made great improvements in their child's attendance rate will receive a ten dollar grocery store gift card as a "Thank You" for your efforts. Let's work together to ensure has as much classroom time as possible.

School Family Council / Terminology Wall / Parents Wanted and more...

All students at MHE are focusing on writing narratives this quarter. By the end of October, each student will have completed a published autobiography. You can help our quarterly writing initiatives by discussing family backgrounds, favorite memories, and important facts about your child's life. They can include these in their writings.

For these articles and more...check out the October newsletter.
