Each year at Medfield, our school community comes together to spruce up particular areas of need around our building. This year, let's get to work on the Cafeteria and the Sensory Break room. Cafeteria chairs need a power wash and the sensory room could use a fresh coat of paint and new curtains. A light breakfast will be served.

Tuesday, October 29
Bring $2 to school for Face Painting
Attend Literacy Night, 7-8pm and bring kids in pajamas for storytelling, crafts and treats

Friday, November 1
StoryDay Parade starts at 1pm
Students should come to school wearing a costume from a a storybook! They should bring the book to school and be prepared to present on their character, their favorite part of the book, and book summary. 

Common Sense Note to Parents - Costumes should be school friendly, weapon free and comfortable to wear all day at school! We appreciate our parent's commitment to school spirit and safety!
Parent Volunteer Opportunities

This year, we're having a Face Painting Fundraiser! Students can get their faces painted for $2.00 on Tuesday, October 29 from 8:30-1:30pm. We need 10 parents to help us paint! The designs will be simple and fall themed.

  • Neatly cut Box Top coupons from participating products such as cereal boxes.
  • Place coupons in a clear Ziploc bag or plain envelope
  • Send them to school and submit to Mrs. Sandler

We look forward to seeing parents/guardians at Back To School Night on Thursday, September 12th from 6-8PM. We will present MSA/Standford 10 data as well as new information to be covered in upcoming issues of the parent/community newsletter.

Please remember there will be no orientation for PreK or Kindergarden parents/guardians on the first two days of school as in the past. All pertinent information previously disseminated on these days will be presented at Back To School Night.
